Day 14 of the Newbie Artist Training Grounds X! I can't believe they are that far already, I have barely participated so far!
For today, I decided to draw a digital art piece. I have begun drawing one for Day 12 as well, but that turned out as too massive to finish in a day, so it's filed as a long-term project. This picture here is simpler, but it was such a joy to draw it! Noi is one of my favourite ponies and fillies, just like I do, Noi has a passion for zombies, so I feel especially close to her! <3 And since Noi loves zombies so much, it's not a stretch of the imagination that she also has a bit of a thing for horror stories in general. So, for Day 14 and the prompt "Draw a ponifed fairy tale, nursery rhyme or legend / Draw a pony telling a ghostly story", I decided to draw Noi who tells the story of the Headless Horse! There was no time anymore to draw more, but the idea here is that Noi shows another filly what a TRUE horror story is. The other filly thought that she knows what a great, spooky story is since her parents told her the foal-friendly story of the unsatiable Candy Monster, but Noi, thanks to her horror-corrupted mind, is here to ensure that the other filly learns what true horror looks like!
I wonder, is the Headless Horse a zombie or a ghost? Too bad that we never heard the full story in "Sleepless in Ponyville" because the episode cut us off from it, I am very interested to hear all of it and if we would have gotten all of it, I maybe would be able to answer that question.
This picture was also drawn on a 10+ hours art stream, the first time I streamed art! I'll edit this description with the exact time once I checked my recording and I might post the video and link it here, as well, when/if I get around to cut out some parts of it. Now I'll only send this picture to EQD anymore and then it's time for a rest! And I will definitely ask Noi for a bedtime story tonight! Because who needs sleep, anyway?
