Alternate Dawn is to set in stone to even think of this as a option .. Where there is a will there is a way and that is double so for when it includes magic. Just at a glance the blade-noodle seems to have a more symbiotic relation then parasitic and such an evolved symbiote likely be more helpful than harmful but those are just my thoughts.
