Welp, time to bring this comic back. Let’s see how long I can go. I’m shooting for 4 more pages after this and updating at least once a week!
For continuity’s sake, I’ve kept the four soldiers from page 30 (8 YEARS ago. x..x). Hopefully it’s okay to still use them for this last page! They are zee-zee, lig, themadbadger and krome02
I’ll see about putting out another call for cameos soon if I feel like I can keep the art momentum up. I think I could use some people for Chapter 2, which is "coming up." Stay tuned.

SCRIPT and VISUAL DESCRIPTION Panel 1 (Tacki, Toroth, Krome, Kwynn, Zee-Zee and Lig are in Tacki’s room in the barracks. Tacki and Toroth are observing as the four soldiers drop his giant, heavy chest down in front of his bed. The room itself is rather stark. The walls are tan with darker brown framing where it meets the wooden floor. Tacki has a wooden toddler style bed. Not quite a crib, but it has bars to keep him from accidentally rolling out in his sleep. The bed is made with a brown comforter, blue sheets and a plain white pillow. Tacki also has a wooden desk with a piece of white paper and a golden desk lamp. There is a chair of the same dark brown color as the rest of his furniture along the back wall by a small window overlooking the courtyard.) Tacki: That’ll do gentlemen! Toroth (Smirking): Looks a bit smaller than your nursery at home Lieutenant.
Panel 2 (Tacki is hanging his dark blue over-cloak on a coat rack. He is turning around and staring at Toroth in the bottom right corner of the screen, close to the viewer.) Tacki: It’s better than being out there with all you rankers. Morning change time with all of you is something I’ve had MORE than enough of. (Toroth is sticking his tongue out, blowing a raspberry at Tacki.)
Panel 3 (Tacki, resplendent in his Sunnyside Fusiliers officer uniform has his right hand behind his back while he waves at Zee-Zee (on the left) and Lig (on the right). The dragon has a cheerful expression on his face, smiling with his eyes closed in glee. Tacki’s desk is behind him. Tacki: Friends, you’ve moved my furniture in with both gallantry and distinction. Dismissed!
Panel 4 (Far shot of the barracks where the sergeants and lower ranking soldiers sleep. There are bunk bed toddler/baby style cribs. Bars go around the beds except for a single entrance area where the occupant could get out at will. There are two visible rows of beds, all placed by large rectangular windows showing the outside. A single, non bunk bed is in the middle of the two rows of bunk beds, presumably for an NCO.
Not much detail can be made out of the 6 characters walking in the scene, only silhouettes. The four lower ranking soldiers look exhausted from all the moving. Tacki and Toroth are behind them continuing to banter back and forth with each other.) Tacki: Well Sarge, let’s go get you some regimentals. Toroth: As you say, Sir!
Panel 5 (Tacki and Toroth are back outside on the dirt ground in front of the barracks. The fortress wall can be seen behind them. Blue skies are above. Tacki is in front pointing off camera to the left with a cheerful expression on his face. Toroth has his hands on his hips, staring in the direction Tacki is pointing. Tacki: I think the Quartermaster’s Depot is over yonder. Toroth: Think? Shouldn’t you be a little more sure before we walk ALL THE WAY over there? Tacki: You’ve marched further Tor.
Panel 6 <Minutes later…> (Shot of the quartermaster’s warehouse. The frame is primarily focused on the sign to the building. The sign is jutting out on a wooden post and the wooden sign is hanging below it. It is shield shaped, QUARTERMASTER is written in bright yellow letters, and the Maerian Deer emblem is carved on to it. She is on a circle of baby blue. A sword and a large gold key are crossed behind her. This is the emblem of the Cub Guard Quartermaster’s Department. Tacki and Toroth are talking, but offscreen. Toroth: Finally! Y’know, I think I’m going to miss this old light infantry uniform. Tacki: You can probably keep it. It smells too much like your dirty diapers… Toroth: WOW… Is it too late to transfer back to our old unit?
