Yeah, this is a new 'sona I've been putting together for times where using Shine or being a copywritten character owned by a big corporation is inadvisable. So yeah, things! With tweaked colors, because the saturation was a bit overmuch on that last one. Hilariously, this was put together from a bunch of sketchbook sketches from before I did the last one on my iPad.
Here's my notes on his characterization! I'm toying with the idea of writing quick short stories for him, but we'll see what happens!
• Hedgehog + fox = hedgefox • Has TF powers • Can heal you, but has to TF you to do it • “You can’t heal people?” “I didn’t say that. I’m a lousy healer, but I’m great at transformation! This solves ALL the problems!” (coughcough, spiritual wounds are also a thing and treating that with TF is totally viable!) • “IDK if permanent?” — it’s only permanent if you want it to be — but he’s pulling the form forward from your soul — so yeah, it’s usually permanent • Nomadic, wanders around helping people • Basically a wandering plot device in other people’s stories • Trickster archetype, but means well. Rarely “I’m gonna cause problems on purpose.” • Of course, when he does cause problems on purpose, it’s ALL THE PROBLEMS • Smarter than you think he is • Basically the wandering without the robots...or as much fighting • “I was a human once. IT SUCKED. So I stopped.” • He’s transmasc, but both as a unicorn (it’s just Shine) and hedgefox he’s male. We don’t talk about “that time he was human.” • He was a unicorn political baby whose mom incarnated him as a hedgehog to punish him for back-sassing her, but joke’s on her, he liked it and stays. • (Basically just Everything minus the immediacy.)
