raph is a gentle giant, that will never change for him. he often has kids paint his nails and he's constantly throwing himself in front of shit for his fam. which is why he's constantly banged up. he got their sash's logo tattooed over his chest because he wants to keep his fam close to his heart. he eats everything (but is still allergic to peanuts). when he's upset he's taken to chewing metal in the effort to not bite his fingernails to bleeding stumps.
his spikes are growing in more places. the skin around them is getting tougher and thicker. he's becoming more and more bullet proof as time goes on. he does worry about how he comes across though. he's huge, bulky and pointy. it concerns him when people are scared of him when he hasnt done anything to really warrant it. the only people he wants to intimidate are "bad dudes". he's taken this in stride tho, and has really channeled his Big Brother skills into being a big bro to all.
it's gotten to the point where he can barely wear shirts anymore. his fam dont let him forget this.
his babysitting services are through recommendations only. he refuses to let Señor Hueso pay him (he sends so many leftovers home with leo raph doesn't think its fair) which is why leo is constantly sneaking cash into his stuff. officially tho he's an uber eats driver. i'll eventually draw his getup for that. he enjoys it. gives him a reason to get out on his buggy.
he's had an attraction to donnie for as long as he can remember. he doesnt mention it. the only one that has any idea is foot recruit (casey) cause he's talked to them about it. raph is gay and demiromantic. casey and himself cuddle.
the news of his alpha status is like, "oh wow okay" but he doesn't worry about it more than that. where donnie takes it as a huge hit to who he is as a person, raph takes it as it is. the news of donnie being an omega - different story. it terrifies him. him and casey look into what this means for both of them, and sits through draxum's lecture, and hearing "often causes alphas and omegas to lose control of themselves when they're in rut or heat" makes him almost panic out of his shell. that being said, he's able to tell himself no when it comes down to it. raph's sense of right and wrong, his sense of respect and consent is far too strong. any fear he has of taking advantage and overpowering donnie or anyone else is moot.
eventually he realises he's imprinted on donnie and vice versa. it's been like that for a long time. this allows him to relax some in regards to their budding romance. he's in no way, shape or form pushy about it and may cry when donnie finally acknowledges what they have between them for what it is.
raph is still doesn't like being completely on his own in new places. and the first time he stays in their Love Nest on his own is The Worst.
