Alright!, this is it! I think I wanted angst because of how I'v been feeling latly so I created this! But it also brought in a new ship which is a strange one but totally worth it!!
30 years later headcanon, Sonic finally tells Sally what happened in the previous timeline, Sally wasn't too happy not because of the affair just that he didn't tell her sooner, because she felt the same way. She didn't feel like she felt anything for him anymore. So they agreed to still get married because Sonic didn't know what happened to Ash or where he could find him, neither did Sally, so they did have their kids because they still loved them and to have heirs for the throne, and to keep up the act to give the people hope for the future.
After the events with King Shadow escaping and Tikchaos? Sally tells Sonic about New Merica and how things weren't on good treams with them until they sent a message to them for peace and they got a message back agreeing to the terms and to meet with the "Queen" of New Merica, now Sally didn't know about ROb stepping down and Amy Stepping up, so getting there everyone was quite surprised to see Amy. At first in front of cameras Amy and her court were kind and friendly everything seemed great until when the cameras were off that's when things got tense and Amy spoke her peace Sonic tried talking to her but Amy wouldn't hear of it, she was no longer the child she was those years ago, and she wouldn't let anyone take advantage of her or her people.
After everything Sonic and Sally take awalk in the garden of Snottingham castle tring to figure out how to talk with Amy and maybe getting their friends back, but it seemed hard since things changed, and Amy became quite scary. Changing the subject Sally does point out how Sonic looked very happy to see Ash sure it was when he wasa trying to calm Amy down so he couldn't really go up to him and talk, but then Sally spots the mongoose now out of his fancier clothes and with no Amy insight so she encourges him to go over and talk to him, Sonic was nervous but with Sally cheering him on he goes over and just kinda like he expected it wasn't the best conversation it was awkward and heartbreaking.
Ash is now married and defintly has no plans on having a affair even if he holds a smalll torch for the blue blur, he tells Sonic how heartbroken he was that he thought he was dead, and then to find out 25 years later that he was alive and now marrying Queen Sally, he had kids and everything Ash felt that Sonic didn't even try to come find him so he just accepted not ever seeing him again, and just wanted to bury himself in his work (Ash is now a music producer in this time) But then he met someone new, someone that helped fix his heart, and become even more then he thought could be again, so he doesn't feel any guilt in telling Sonic he doesn't love him anymore and that he is happy. now so he won't let Sonic oranyone else ruin that.
Enter Lancelot, or Shadow. Shadow adopted a new name because he was tired of hearing his name over and over again by a fake plus some people would get him confused with him and most of his friends kinda felt awkward saying his name because they couldn't say fake Shadow over and over even saying fake was abit strange, so he decided to change his name to feel more like himself again, Amy and Rouge helped him come up with a name, in which Amy remembered an old folk tale of a knight named Lancelot, Shadow liked the name so much that is now his new name in this timeline. Ash and his friends call him Lance.
