So here's my queen Amy for my silly 25/30 years later headcanon.
In my headcanon Amy has grown up alot smarted then what everyone thought she could be, but she leaves the Acorn kingdom the moment Sally marries Shadow, due to the fact their ideals aren't the same anymore and she wanted to go help her cousin Rob O' Hedge bring their home back to what it use to be. Thanks to her and her cousin Snottingham became New Merica, welcoming all those who oppossed the Acorns mostly Shadow. At this time Amy set off to help more of those who didn't want to fall into the control of Shadow those being from the Dragon Kingdom now all following Khan, to the Babylon Rouges who now had control of the battlebird armada lead by Jet, to Downunda and the newly attabilshed Baronies lead by Beauragard and his wife Patricia (this is where Amy meets up with Ash), and to Sally's dismay Amy continued to on with some freedom fighters. With Downunda Amy was able to convice them to submit to Shadow to be one of many spies for New Merica (Tails unknown to this), Shadow didn't know of this he just continued to believe he had control.
At one point she did marry Jet, more so to get them on her side but after awhile in agreement they both knew it wouldn't work anymore so they divorced but Jet continued to help lead the rouges and battlebirds aganist Shadow, and they had a daughter together named Aurora. Before becoming queen she did marry again this time for real love, unfortunatly after gving birth to their son, the father went into battle against Shadow, for control over the Dragon Kingdom. The father didn't return, but they still kept hold of the dragon kingdom.
Amy was distraught over the news but this time she more furious, that there had been so many lives lost because of this, that she finally went to her cousin who was now stressing over if he should continue fighting back or giving the kingdoms over to Shadow, but Amy came to him, and told him to give her everything the throne, the crown, the power, just everyhting she was going to take over from here on out. Amy and Rob argued over this decison but after sometime he gave in and handed everything over to her, now crowned as Queen she contacted Shadow and told him to meet up face to face. Shadow thinking this was Rob, giving the kingdoms to him was dead wrong when Amy was annouced queen and she walked up to him face to face in front of everyone and told him, "You wil never get my Kingdoms, my people, our freedom." Amy in Shadow's eyes was...beautiful.
Amy continued to fight against Shadow with all her loyal followers and friends, continuing to make New Merica, beautiful and a safe home for those who wish to fight against this Fake Shadow. Oh yeah so before becoming queen Amy found out Rouge had survived an explosion Shadow had set up in G.U.N and waits for her to wake up and she finds out that this Shadow that has become a tyrant is actually a fake because Rouge and her found the real Shadow, and they have been hiding him in New Merica till the time was right to strike.
When Sonic did come back, amy was not happy, she was so angry she didn't want anything to do with Sonic or any one from the Acorn kingdom, but her cousin reminded her that this is the best time to strike up peace and just for poitical reasons she agreed and yeah it was not the best reunion.
Amy kinda took from her Uncle King O'Hedge's personality and becaming cold and strict but not to the point where she was gone just to strike fear into her enemies also took his little emblem as sort of respect to him.
Also, I kinda remade Merica/Snottingham in my head to closely be related to the sorta Nordic, Celtic type of area, don't know why it just felt like something there~ I just really like Nordic, celtic mythology~
