Deep within the jungles, our winged explorer looks for the legendary riches of an ancient civilization. According to the locals, the treasure within their Sacred City dwarfed even all the gold of El Dorado. Lured by the possibility of a life of luxury, Rouge delves into the wilderness, challenging beasts, diseases and even hostile natives until she finds to her destination: the Emerald City. Spotted by the inhabitants of what could arguably be the most valuable place in Earth, the white bat is shown the panels and papyrus with the "Legend of The Travelling Goddess", which told the story of a winged deity that gave uninmaginable wealth and health to all their civilization every thousand years by performing a ritual, then leaving. Upon a closer inspection of the figures, Rouge noticed the goddess looked very much like a bat.

"Oh, I can be their goddess for a day... then leave with all the emeralds! who would deny a goddess her emerdoods anyway? Tee hee!"

Performing some cheap magic tricks, and some flying stunts, she's capable to convince the tribe lord she was indeed Diokhan, the Prosperous Maiden! Rushed towards a ceremonial chamber, she is changed into the traditional garbs for the ritual, which should start immediately. As not all should be just flowers for the bat, she felt uncomfortable with the "clothes" she was given, as the ceremonial garb consisted of only leaves, bandages and bodypaint. However, she found solace in the sheer ammount of jewelry she was given, making her look exactly like the Diokhan deity. It was not too long until she grew accustomed to the outfit, and she actually liked it quite a bit, as it fit the jewels and the whole ancient civilization theme... After attending a banquet in her honor, finally Rouge was taking part on the very much anticipated ritual, and then would make her exit. She was given instructions by the tribe lord.

"Lady Diokhan, climb with us to the mountain. We shall do the ritual up there."

Once they got there, Rouge was asked to kneel before a volcanic crater, filled with lava. As the temple assistants threw all sorts of offerings into the molten rock, she was given her prize: a beautiful, pristine and green Chaos Emerald!

"Is the goddess pleased?"

"Oh yesssss! Yeeeees! Do you have more of those, like, six more?"

"Sure Lady Diokhan! You will be reunited with your dear gems in a second...once you reach the bottom of the caldera."

It was at that moment that Rouge realized the nature of the very last panel in the papyrus, which had a figure of the bat goddess performing a sommersault into the unknown... and how that was her exit into the realm of the gods.
