Although Taylor had a lot of fame from the underground circuit and a band to sort-of call friends, she was still very much alone as a teenager. The crowds, although they adored her presence on stage, were a big danger to her. She did not want them finding out that her tail was truly real and not some on-stage technical marvel. That could very well end her stint in this lifestyle. So after every concert appearance, she would hang around in the backstage rooms until the last guest filtered out of the club. Sometimes she would sneak away to the backalley to get some fresh air. Hardly anyone visited these seedy sections of town, which suited Taylor fine. She felt comfortable enough there knowing Ahya could probably scare off anyone who dared to trouble her. Still, it was boring and lonely waiting for the crowd to disperse and sometimes she would get hungry and eat some fruit while she waited. Ahya would always mop up the leftovers. Although being her tail, Taylor was still confused and morbidly curious how it functioned - sometimes watching it as it ate the food she gave it and feeling that seed of fullness in her stomach and taste on her tongue from it.
