It's 8-year-old Clarence Coyote and his girlfriend Cheryl dancing at that drive-in restaurant known as The Hop in the summer of 1960. Apparently there was a film crew there at that time making a documentary about American small town life, probably to be shown to people/animals in the big cities and eventually to future generations on YouTube, and they happened to catch the youngsters and other cubs dancing while the Seeburg jukebox is playing. And speaking of the future, let's hope those closest to Clarence don't accidentally blab about him being from the future.
When moyomongoose first uploaded the artwork to his gallery, his home state was under lockdown due to that nasty Coronavirus. He was forced to upload it onto his laptop using an image on his Android phone taken with a Nikon camera. Pretty elaborate setup, given the circumstances. The result was a grainy/"pixel-y" kind of image, like on one of those old color TV sets.
That image got so much praise that he decided to keep it and reupload it when the lockdown was recently lifted. The TV set he used for this scene is a 1959-60 RCA model http://youtu.be/8Y69WLDz9OU http://youtu.be/nauvjMM2fzY http://youtu.be/JWSxlwVtBaM (Okay, so those aren't the exact model, but they look close enough.) Anyway, this piece was uploaded into my gallery with his permission. Hope you like it!
