As time with the Mina's band goes on sonic wonders what it is about Ash Manic seems so intrested in, because when they first met it wasn't too good of a first impression (he doesn't know Manic has a crush on him just that their friends) so as he watches from a distance he then see's a smile, just something about this smile makes Sonic's heart jump.
Serenade:
Somethings go wrong during their concert and Ash ends up getting captured by Sleete and Dingo and is used as a trap to get M and the siblings but things get foiled and with Sonic Ash is carried to safety, but unknown to Ash, Sonic was taking him somewhere in private so they could talk, at first Ash was abit impatient because he wanted to see his cousin, so he tried getting out of Sonic grasp, but then Sonic starts to sing to him but not like he usaully would he was abit softer abit more calm, he was seranading Ash telling him how he felt and maybe they could be more.
