Personality
On the job, he's professional: quiet, focused, analytical and relaxed. On the streets, he lets his true colors show, revealing a rather gruff and brutish nature. Hala likes to throw his weight around, often bumping others out of his way to get where he needs to go. He only shows respect to public service workers, as he claims he doesn't want to 'add to the list of assholes they deal with on the daily grind.' He's also a materialistic hedonist, spoiling himself with as much as he can buy.
In the Vale Tudo ring, he shows a sadistic streak with its no-holds-barred nature, preferring violent and unconventional means to defeat his opponents.

Background/History
Hala grew up in the countryside, where much of his childhood was focused on wrestling with neighborhood kids. A lack of luster in the countryside and the constant needling by his schoolmates and teachers to join the football team caused him to become jaded toward the sport and people in general.
He found relief in martial arts, partaking in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before finding the more violent and more rewarding underground Vale Tudo tournaments. It was there he learned the thrill of fighting without constraint, but he still kept up his other training to adapt the moves into his real fights. He used the reward money to save up for a house in the city and found a job working in an office as a secretary. He was soon promoted to be an auditor after showing off his keen eye for finding funding issues.
Hala is extremely individualistic, looking out only for himself and finds pleasure in getting the best his money can buy. Despite that, he keeps healthy and in shape to continue fighting, working his way through the ranks so he can earn enough to retire early. He cares little for what others think of what he does.
His free time is often spent working out at home or shopping around. Sometimes, depending on his mood, he will not wear his shoes. This applies to his place of work as well, much to the chagrin of his boss. He finds it a meditative experience, though usually if he's just barefooting around town, it's to attract attention from possible hookups.
With all the money he earns, Hala is not shy about flaunting it. He only gets the best of the best hardware, though he's careful to do his research to make sure he's not just paying for the name. Everything in his home, down to the flooring, has been replaced at one point or another after he could buy something better.
