How to teach an imp
More from ebonyplume!

This time of Yori once again being...well...beaten and left in a very compromising position as a result of it. Many wonder what led to the sight one sees before you.
Yori account: He took an assignment, which anyone could take of course. Afterall. he's far too valuable of an asset to be "assigned" missions. Being far more useful when acting on his own rather than wasting his raw talent getting them handed out. A simple monster clean up. After having a "flawless and uneventful" journey to the creatures lair, Yori waltzed in, declared his presence and the creature, knowing full well that it stood no chance against such a great, powerful and unstoppable mage such as himself, the creature bowed and left of it's own accord. This left Yori, as the sole victor on the mission, to return home. As he walked however, many a bandit wished for a chance to be blessed by the great Yori, so as a sign of endearment, Yori dolled up a few fake injuries and gave the group a single gold coin (about $10) and overjoyed by Yori's kindness, left to commit to a better, bandit free lifestyle. Yori, making the world safer by his presence.

What actually happened: After getting a free mission from the board because the one assigned to work with Yori can't get anymore mission assignments on account of Yori's sheer ineptitude and penchant for screwing everything up all the time, causing them to constantly fail all their missions, they took on a very low rank one to try and get at least a bit of money. The two traveled together, running into a group being hassled by some bandits. After Yori got himself caught, trying to fight them, Yori was saved after the bandits were beaten and left. After making it to the lair, Yori indeed ran in by himself. Then...the creature blew on Yori, sending the worthless rabbit into a wall and proceeding to get knocked out. After Yori's partner dealt with the creature(whether or not he beat it was left unanswered), he picked up his rabbit and went on his way. No repeat encounter.

Obviously...by this you can tell...that Yori's interpretation is accurate and should be the only one you ever trust. After all, he is a powerful little mage.
