March, Spring Equinox Day, the Beginning of Spring: Yet another piece added as a part of my first initiative project, Twelve Month Holidays.
This one is particularly symbolic. Typically taking part on the 20th of March, (or anywhere generally between 19th to 23rd), it marks the date when the Earth's equator begins moving towards facing the Sun, allowing more sunlight to evenly coat our planet: Indeed, not just the northern hemisphere.
Days across the planet almost perfectly become evenly timed and the beginning of the cycle of life restarts. Springtime is an incredible time of year, easily my favourite (the other being Autumn), and such a beautiful source of inspiration. So much-so, that I've made this piece. And it took a gooooood few hours. I'm a dirty fucking perfectionist, so I kept redoring the tree itself.
This is easily becoming my favourite piece, so far; contending with the "Nihon" (unrelated to project) piece.
This is part three to the initiative project, Twelve Month Holidays [Japan].
