All things yearn for release. Even feelings.

Why is that? Perhaps because they are meant to be shared. Meant to be free. What happens to a woman or man in a world that constantly believes it should be silenced and all held in?

What happens when we begin to believe repression or disconnection from our emotions and others is the equivalence of virtue and strength?

The nature of things are that we are meant to be honest with ourselves, and close to others. That we are meant to walk in cycles, embodied in the shape of circles...rings...and part of that cycle is release.

We are taught early on and often still that independence above all is our only strength, but look around you. We are not surrounded by strength but illness in the form of fear. Fear of honesty, fear of closeness, fear of understanding....fear of connection. We have broken our cycle. We are not stronger for our independence. We are not any more noble for our silence. We are malnourished, weaker than we have ever known...malnourished of life and expression. Do not let it fool you. We have not grown this way...we have wilted.

We cannot turn our backs on one another. We cannot break our resolve to seek life. You will not find it in silence and fear. Even the spirits know this. Do you understand them now..?
