...Sorry (with special apologies to Dolly Parton)---I know I can't sing, but I couldn't resist here. ^^
Anyway, as some of you know, I have broken my beloved pencil. Luckily, a replacement has been arranged and will soon arrive in the mail. In the meantime, I'm drawing with what's rest of my KuruToga ...and this is the result (or consequence---my art is still my art lol).
Honestly, it's fine, though a bit more smudged than some of my other cards.
So, who've I chosen to draw this time? Why, it's Jolene the Alligator! Don't fall in love just yet---she's taken (neither be impressed---her hair's just a wig!). :3
Anyway... Jolene is from 'Kissyfur': a series I'm somewhat familiar with (I've drawn Beehonie a few times) but amn't a fan of. ^^
Why do I draw all these strange characters from shows I don't watch?
I began drawing old TV characters from a need to have subjects for ACO cards. As I continued, more and more furs and fans began to watch me, and some of my art began to find its way into fan collections and folders.
So it seemed I'd found a niche in the furry/art/nostalgia community, as that guy who will (say) draw that rat thing from Pink Goes to Hollywood ...because there's always someone on the lookout for that sort of thing (and I may as well be the one to provide it). :3
