Mike's bearcat and Tannim were out hunting for treasure with a metal detector. It was going slow until they found a big x on the ground, then the detector beeped quite loudly. A quick dig, though, turned up just a nail. Looks bent. There were more beeps in the spot, but just more nails when they dug around it. Nail after Nail came out... just a pile of them stuck in some old rotting wood. We gave up after ten or so. It still had a huge hit signal, but we didn't need more nails and left. Later we heard some commotion or other. Seems somebody found some old coins and part of an old treasure chest in the area. Lucky bastards.
