Meet Wally, from 1989's 'The Teddy Bear's Picnic' (TTBP) ...Oh, sorry---you can't (he's 'gone teddy'). Well, take my word that Wally is, in fact, very much alive, as all teddy bears were in the 80's. :3

Correct! ...But for now, I'm writing about TTBP, since we're nowhere near Christmas (as of writing) and I wanna save Ben for later.
Anyway...
I'm unsure whether TTBP qualifies as an obscure special, as there have been several animated iterations of the story. Not to mention the song the animations are based on is fairly well known (it's cute, yet has a creepy vibe to it).
Either way, I added Wally to my draw list, and now ...he's been erased from it, so win-win for the bears ...then again, being drawn by MartenFerret is hardly a win for anyone ...but it's something! (presuming 'something' is defined as 'the absence of nothing', anyway). ^^
As stated, Wally appeared in both specials, as did his buddy *Benjamin Bear ('Ben'). Interestingly, TTBP came first in 1989, although 1992's TTBC is the special in which Ben met Wally (so the timeline ain't right!). ^^
*Ben would eventually get his own series: 'The Secret World of Benjamin Bear' (TSWoBB), albeit TSWoBB paired Benjamin with a bear named Howie (I dunno wha happened to Wally lol).
