Well, I made a comic titled 'Gene Wins', so here's one for Tasli. :3
This one was inspired by a friend's note ...or, rather, by something they linked me to.
Tasli stands by a *soda fountain, having filled his cup.
*yes, 'Vita Rush' is a Lego reference
A girl in line tosses some unasked-for critique Tasli's way,
BEAVER: "Why wear just an undershirt---why not wear a real shirt?"
TASLI: "You call it an undershirt---some call it a vest!"
TASLI (cont): "Anyway, why do you care?"
BEAVER: "I don't, really, I was just saying"
TASLI: "Well, do your saying somewhere else!"
BEAVER: "Boys shouldn't speak so rudely to girls!"
Gender roles and expectations! XD ...in 2020! D:
TASLI: "Oh, if we're going there, maybe you should stop criticizing, and go home and bake some cookies!"
BEAVER: *sigh* "All right, I'm on it"
TASLI: "My favorite's chocolate chip!"
...of course, we cannot be certain whether Tasli will in fact receive any cookies (or, if so, whether said cookies would be spiced with ghost pepper), but it's safe to say the beaver girl will think before she speaks, next time. :3
