Fairytan Rescue (p1)
Rookidee tried to flap away all the while he said "oh no! This cannot be!" In his surprised englishmon accent.
Oddish in the meantime, buried himself and tried to look like grass out of fear, all the while several human beings came around and started cuffing and tying Ponyta and Rookidee up, somewhat unaware that the piece of grass was another pokemon.
"Looks like we got a good catch today, Syrus" one of the humans, having a gruff, male voice had said to another one.
The other human had a haughty, english tone, all the while he laughed victoriously "you think!? Cain, this is a Galarian Ponyta! These pokemon pay big time in the black market!" He said in a sort of bragging manner, all the while the other grunts continued tying Ponyta up.
'What?' was all Ponyta could think about. Being taken by surprise and being tied up were two uncomfortable feelings she was having at the time. Soon enough, she was lifted in the air as soon as she couldn't move anymore.
"Roo, roo! (Hang in there, Adie!)" Was Rookidee's response to Ponyta while they were taken up in the air, translated to the pokemon language that humans would be able to hear.
She gave neighs in her language from what humans would be able to understand, which meant "How!? I'm tied up!" while she struggled to break free unsuccessfully.
Soon enough, something hard just hit them. It felt quite new and completely unknown to them. It looked black with several holes for some reason, and a glass window could overlook them if the drivers wanted to.
While the vehicle they were on was very foreign to them, Rookidee and Ponyta tried to call for help as loudly as they could. All their human captors could ever hear were their pokemon names just being screamed out into their open, but in their language, it was truly a call for help.
Ponyta felt a little hopeless now. From being free and happy, she now felt tied down and simply sad. She was going to be taken away from her family with the only possible company being Rookidee, and even she thought that her friend would be taken away as well.
Now what? The two were helpless and all they could do is wait. They were being transported and were only able to see the forest moving away at a very fast rate. The ride was bumpy, but all it did was only hurt Ponyta and Rookidee a little as the net was still left surrounding them.
Could any moves be of use? Ponyta reviewed what she knew. Tackle was no use; Tail Whip even less. She knew Fairy Wind, however she was skeptical whether it'd actually help take the net off. Confusion is a big maybe, but she was no telekinetic master.
"Nazeu, do you know any moves that could get us out of here?" Ponyta asked, looking at Rookidee with a somewhat desperate look.
"No, Adie! I only know Peck, Power Trip and Leer! What moves do you know?" Rookidee asked back with a worryful gaze as well.
"Only a few: Tackle, Tail Whip, Confusion and Fairy-" Ponyta started listing, but Rookidee interrupted her when she mentioned the psychic-type move.
"Adie! You could use Confusion and get us down!" Rookidee tried hopping about in content, but tripped down from being unable to move mostly. The truck suddenly stopped and the pokemon were startled for a bit.
"No... I can't use that move too well" she said and tried using Confusion, but she couldn't manipulate the objects all too well. She strained a lot and eventually gave up. "See?" She said, and Rookidee had to meet Ponyta with a disappointed look.
Ponyta didn't feel all too good about this, as the poachers seemed to be picking them up now. She couldn't use a move too well and they were already being taken further away from their home... unless...
Of course, this was the poachers' home base. It looks like this is where they stay while they find some pokemon to get for themselves.
The ones that were carrying them were two grunts of Syrus and Cain. One looked blacker than the other one, however the other one had a lot of hair and weird, out of place spots that didn't go too well with his face. The white one also had a wide earring that created a circular hole in his earlobe, which if you asked Ponyta, looked disgusting.
The first interaction she has with humans, and it's been terrible. It?s not like she ever knew humans to be fantastic creatures, but she never wanted this to be her first impression. Now she knows what to do exactly the next time she sees one, although her parents did offer her one time to learn to gaze into other souls and detect their essence.
They were both untied, but placed in a cage along with other cages filled with different kinds of pokemon. The pokemon all shrieked and called out, asking desperately for help and freedom. It looked like the poachers were here for quite a while, because they actually got quite the hoard.
"Look at all the Pokemon..." Ponyta commented while observing past her cage. Various grassland pokemon were here, such as Zigzagoon, Skwovet, Wooloo and Roselia, all the way to even finding a few more difficult pokemon to find, like Bagon, Heatmor, Salandit, Morgrem, and Jangmo-o. They even had captured a Dragapult in their place, which was quite surprising since these pokemon are powerful.
Ponyta got the intimidating scope of her predators' power right in front of her eyes. If they could catch this many pokemon, then no wonder Rookidee and Ponyta were both caught. These guys were prepared all along to capture anyone they would want to.
"It is pretty scary, right?" Rookidee said, standing behind Ponyta for a bit. Ponyta looked at Rookidee and then back at the cage bars. She did this again a few more times and wondered if Rookidee could actually fit through the bars. It was actually hard to tell, faintly visible, but it was worth a try.
"Hey, try getting through those bars, I think you might actually fit through" Ponyta whispered to Rookidee, who was actually skeptical of such a plan.
"I may be squishy, but I certainly cannot go through those bars" Rookidee bristled a little, although he did seem like he was actually considering the idea.
"You might as well count on a Pokemon Ranger to free us" Dragapult said in a dejected, bitter manner, while his Dreepy all agreed on it. Ponyta observed Dragapult's cage and saw that the bars were actually a lot more crossed out together, so even the Dreepy couldn't come out. Ponyta wondered what other choices could there be.
"Methinks I shall try this idea, Adie, but you shall try my idea if I do this" Rookidee offered, having a straight and brave face. The idea didn't seem all that bad, but Ponyta was skeptical of her skills. She already messed up a few times - she did not want to end up permanently locking themselves up.
"What idea?" Zigzagoon sneered and then asked as politely as she could. Clearly, her personality was more of a petty delinquent rather than a run in the mill pokemon, but it seemed that she was also on the same track as the other pokemon.
"Using Confusion on the cages to break us free. If Ponyta can do it, we'll be free" Rookidee explained with hope. He was actually hopping around with some certain excitement going around, even if it's more likely that they'll both fail at getting out.
"It's tough, pokemon moves are limited here. Somehow, we can't use them" Dragapult explained and the Dreepy once more agreed with him, as if this was some coordinated response strategy that the pokemon developed together.
"Well, there is no other choice, let's go for it, Nazeu" Ponyta said strongly, giving a remark of approval of Rookidee's conditions
