Moyo and the 1951 Buick
Gift Drawing - 1960 Chrysler 300
This is a gift

did for me.

It is Al Coyote getting some car models for Clarence. This is when Clarence was still back in 1960, with Al and Marge as his step dad and step mom...Being that 1960 is a day and time before Clarence's actual parents were born.

This would presumably be at the hobby store in the Tri Star Plaza.

I can smell the Testors enamel just looking at this picture. I've been wanting to get some kind of kit to build recently.

Well, hopefully there's a hobby shop near where you live, like Hobby Lobby or Michael's.
Otherwise, you could go to these online sites:
I'm sure they'll have just the kit you want.

My first model kit was a Monogram of Buddy Baker's Uno Buick (yes, I'm old) ...and it was stolen from me. :(

Mine was a 1959 Pontiac.

Mine was a '58 T-Bird. (Yes, I admit I'm old too.) Unfortunately, I had to throw it away when I moved.  My parents were worried it wouldn't survive the trip.

"58 was the first year the T Bird became a 4 seater.

That's right.  Of course my late dad thought Ford ruined a perfectly good icon by adding a back seat.  He always preferred the '55 to '57 T-Birds.  And more recently Ford ruined another perfectly good icon - the Mustang - by making it into an SUV: http://fav.me/ddpg9dd

That's okay.  I managed to find a replacement: http://fav.me/d5rbn3v (the one in the center)
I managed to replace most of the model kits that got thrown away.
