I love the fall, October especially. We loved the month and relished taking time in setting up for our Halloween outfits and decorations.
Sadly, my garden would always wilt and shrivel away at this time, but I managed to salvage a flower for her. I gave it to her as she was walking from the bakery her mother worked at before bringing her to my home. My parents were having an overnight date vacation so we had the home to ourselves. Oh we planned for so many spooky decorations and lovely ideas.
But what I was not aware of was that the gentle breeze and her heavy clothing hid the most rare fragrance. A fragrance that was overpowering when we were secluded in my warm home and had lightly stripped down.
Instead of having our hands on projects and planning, we sought a much more primal celebration that day...
It was the first time for both of us... but for some time, I honestly believed it was also the last.
