This is Ozzie from Radio AAHS. ...At least, this is Ozzie insofar as I can pen him (I made several sketches to see how well I could capture his likeness ...though I count this as a failure, I liked it enough to upload. I mean, at very least, this upload is no worse than my 200-some others, so what would I prove?). ^_^
...and, yes, in Ferret-style, Ozzie wouldn't wear pants. :P
Anyway, Radio AAHS was a radio station that aired programming for kids (including songs, stories, skits/jokes, etc). Radio AAHS was later destroyed by Disney (which is why you've likely never heard of it). :P
Anyway, I was able to give the station a listen via the miracle of YouTube.
Radio AAHS wasn't just a radio station--they also had a magazine that (usually) came with a CD (of mostly original music). The CD covers were decorated with the (unofficial?) mascots: Ozzie (cat) and Kazoo (crow).
These CDs are fairly pricey on eBay, albeit, I happen to have one (specifically 'July 1995 no. 5') :3
As for the songs themselves... Well, the selections were a notch or two above, say, nursery rhymes and 'traditional' ditties (like, say, Itsy Bitsy Spider). That said, though the songs were mostly original (save for the occasional Disney track), they were yet (and appropriately) childish---think songs about going to school, eating broccoli, and dancing in your underwear. :P
Concisely, I couldn't listen to this station for too long! XD That said, if you're the type who legitimately likes 'I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas' (Gayla Peevey), then you'd love Radio AAHS! ^^
As for me, if I had kids (and had to enjoy music with them), I think a fair compromise would be to let them listen to the oldies station (think 'Buddy Holly', etc). I mean, sure, we know (say) 'Sugar Sugar' by the Archies (1970) and 'Sugar' by Maroon 5 (2014) are about the same (not-kosher) thing, but, c'mon! XD
At the very least, Radio AAHS selections were much more tolerable (and far less creepy) than those of Kidz Bop (ie, 12-year-olds covering top-40 songs about sex). D:
