Excerpt:

John sighed a bit as he examined the map once more, seeing what is going to happen, and if there were any places that would ally themselves with the rebellion. John shook his head gently seeing the world fall little by little. Hope was slowly fading, Kevin stared to the ground, his expression angry and distant, but almost inhuman. Kevin’s mind had snapped, everything he’s lost... everything he fought for, crashing down before him.

This is a concept for TTTK’s future, with some ideas that might stay and might not. I can guarantee Kevin is going to remain looking like that, but John might change. TTTK is a story about despair, loss, and suffering. It is not a ‘happy’ story. Tale to the King is about war, and about agony. Pain and suffering are key points TTTK will cover. So far as even showing a character losing his mind so bad... he snaps
