This will also be use as an in-text insert in the upcoming Part 32 of, Clarence Coyote and Project Courier.

It is Monday, August 1st, 1960 in New Mexico.

Marge and the cubs are on a day outing, and taking pictures for Clarence Coyote to take back to 2018 with him as 1960 archive photos.
Scientists still attempt to repair the time machine so Clarence can return back to his original family in the year 2018.
Those who Clarence know (and presently miss) in 2018 where he is from will get some kicks out of seeing those pictures.

Their 1960, Plymouth Fury, nine passenger, station wagon shown here is the family's 2nd car they purchased brand new a week ago. Prior to getting that car, Marge and the cubs were always without a car when Al had the Chrysler 300 at work.

Mama Marge is driving.
Jed, age 11, is riding in the front passenger's seat.
Rex, age 8, is riding on the passenger's side back seat.
Clarence, age 8 and presently adopted, is riding on the driver's side back seat.
Donna, age 6, is riding on the very back, rear facing, 3rd fold out seat.

There are four songs in particular that were inspiration...And who knows?...A couple of these songs may have played on the car's radio that day.

That it is...The family is also much happier now that they got a 2nd car they've been needing for a long time.

I appreciate the fave also...Thanks.

Those cars may have not been the safest but they were the greatest!

100% agreed.

No crush zones or seat belts and plenty of hard pointy edges! Heck I'd probably be in the backseat on my knees leaning over the backrest looking out the rear windscreen... even better in a convertible!

Even worse we've all probably done the old "sit on lap and steer" thing?

Drains fuel and belches Co2 but has a sound of their own anything from that time!

At least their size offered some protection.

True. and big but not top heavy, I once had a big SUV roll inches past me when walking home and and it'll have killed me if a little more this way.
