As someone that was a friend of his and one of his earliest supporters, I will say what happened. Basically he betrayed anything cub. He was heavily invested into politics, and when cancel culture set it's eyes on loli/shota/cub, he had a choice to make, and he chose politics.
He started by discontinuing all his cub series, and quickly progressed to demonizing cub art and people that consume it. He chose politics and political friends over the loving cub community and friends that cared for him. He stabbed the cub community in the back.
I normally don't like drama and have never wanted to bring it in, but his betrayal stung bad, and all over petty political drama. I can't forgive that, and it's also reinforced my hatred in PC culture, SJWs, and cancel culture, cause it hurt our community and turned one of my first friends in the community against me... :'(

1. because you're not friends with someone anymore doesn't mean you get to misgender them 2. This picture is a year and a half old, seeking it out to complain is incredibly petty 3. don't bring other people into your personal drama 4. if someone is no longer willing to participate within a subfandom, that's up to them, not you, no matter how you feel about it. and finally, if something like cub/loli/shota is SO IMPORTANT to you that you actually feel betrayed by someone not being into it anymore, you should really review your priorities.

1. Please don't lecture me about "misgendering someone" when I knew him for years as a he, and he referred to himself as such. 2. I didn't seek this out to complain. I searched his name trying to find some of his old work and came across this. 3. I'm not bringing others into my personal drama. I'm informing someone that was curious about what happened, and giving them a more accurate take, because I think people in the community deserve to know. 4. There's nothing wrong with my priorities. We get persecuted and discriminated against everyday. This goes well beyond him just leaving the fandom. He attacked and hurt the fandom on the way out, including his friends. I don't feel betrayed with him leaving it. I feel betrayed by him cutting me and his other friends off suddenly over petty politics and saying horrible and untrue things about our community as he left.
