Decided to try out a more simple design style for a cute character, and this was the result.  Bunbun's made for a concept that is.. cluttered to say the least, and definitely needs ironing out, but I like her design enough that I figured I'd share her here.

The best tldr version that I can give at the moment is this:
-The Animal Masks were originally designed to assist in space exploration.  As such when the wearer activated it, the mask would transform the wearer and grant a number of abilities including breathing in any and no atmosphere, under water, ect.  Super strength and agility.  The ability to survive in a vacuum, and resistance to extreme temperatures.  However they were also able to tap into the negative emotions of their wearer and take over.  Fueled by negatively charged instinct, the Animal Masks became stronger, faster, and extremely violent to any non-animal mask bearers.  To make matters worse, they could amplify and harness the negative emotional energy and fire it off in a sort of doom laser.  All of the Animal Masks went into this Rampage Mode with varying levels of strength, but the mostpowerful and deadly was the prototype, a bunny type mask that had bonded with its wearer and permanently transformed her, Bunbun.  Together the Animal MAsks brought the world to the brink of complete annhilation before finally being subdued.
  500-or-so years later, the planet is so polluted from the fallout of that war, that with the exception of a few safe zones, humanity is reliant on masks safely developed from remaining known Animal Mask technology.  Bunbun is found by the protagonists sealed away in a deep underground facility, her memory and programming all but erased.  Now as Bunbun learns what it means to be human the protagonists race against the antagonists to collect as many of the surviving Animal Masks as they can in order to save the world, or at least prevent it from being completely destroyed.
