Ever watch the first season of an anime and create an OC for said anime, just to later watch the next season/tie-in movie to realize that your OC concept is basically impossible given the canon setting? Well that's what happened to me. I watched Saga of Tanya the Evil and made Natasha who was basically the Rus' Union's equivalent to Tanya, getting her nickname of Fox or The Fox due to her cunning on the battlefield, as well as her hair resembling a fox's tail. I even imagined that her and her team would be launched into combat via modified katuyshas. Alas, this little fan thing was not meant to be as [SPOILERS] In the movie, the Rus' Union purged it's mages. Because you know that's a smart thing to do when everyone else has them. [/SPOILERS].
Oh well. Was fun to draw a human for a change, which is something I rarely do. And I guess there's always the classic 'it's an alternate timeline from the canon' schtick. Who knows, maybe I'll draw more of her in the future.
