Here is the first part of a project I started. Some pokemons already have a regional form, like Vulpix, who turn to ice. The concept is the same but for eeveelution. They all normally evolve thanks to a special way (Stone/friendship/love/place) and all have a special type. That project try to think how they could adapt in a new environnement and which physical type they could get thanks to it
Espeon: Having to adapt from predator immune to psy type, Espeon adapt to loose his psy type and gain fighting type ! So loosing his Dark weakness and beeing super effective against it now. The crystal on his head now help to guess the movements of his enemies. Thanks to it, he do a counter attack when the ennemy use a priority order attack (like quick attack)
Umbreon: Having to adapt too cause fairy type surrounding him, he loose his dark type and gain poison type. His rings are poisoned and he can recover his body of poison thanks to the line on the lenght of his back and become super effective against fairy. Thanks to that ability, when he get under 50%hp, the poison recover his body, increasing his special defense and poison the enemies who attack
Sylveon: Got betrayed by the one who gave enough love to evolve, loosing the fairy type to gain ghost type, now playing nice to attract peoples to the death, though can't touch the normal type, cause he can't resign to do bad things to an eevee, cause remembering his own innocence and hopes ! His ribbons are now used to absorb life energy from his victims, giving him the talent to absorb a part of enemy hp with every attack he do
