Some may be a bit confused considering the alternate art of the character. The truth is this is presumably a furry version of the Adam The Forsaken I write about in fanfiction and novels. I figured now that my series is starting to gain mass appeal I need to rethink my avatars a bit. Not to worry though there will be more works of him as I get more artists to draw him in different ways. Luckily since there are many iterations of him across a greater Multiverse, there is no wrong drawing of him so long as they always have two tails and brownish/green eye color (red if possessed) unless the purpose of the realm is for them not to have those specific features. Most anything else is up to the artist in question.
As for the lore no that pastry isn't secretly the organ of someone who died, that is a jelly injected pastry known as Sufganiyot or Chanukah Donuts. You'd be forgiven for thinking Latkes were the only Traditional Chanukah food since up until 2012 the America's probably didn't have those in most bakeries. I only started seeing them about 3 years ago myself, but I was never looking until I saw them at a Chanukah dinner once.
