I already have a posting of this car. This one is a close up I am going to use as an in-text image in the next part of my story, Clarence Coyote and Project Courier.
EDIT: That part of Clarence Coyote and Project Courier has already been posted.
I've changed the drawing so the car has a white tag with red print. When I posted it with the red tag and yellow print, I forgot about those tags expiring throughout 1960. The character driving the car is a teenage cat who got that car as a school graduation gift that year of 1960, thus the tag was issued in June of 1960, and would be one that expires in 1961, which is a white tag with red print.
As a side note, The fuel truck in a different posting still has a red New Mexico tag. The 1960 validation sticker for that tag was issued in November of 1959, and the tag doesn't expire until the end of November of 1960...Depicted here is in the last week of July of 1960.
That song was on one of my CD compilations. I thought it was a funny song too, especially the last line: "Say, buddy, how can I get this car out of second gear?"

Two things about that ending line. Either he was just yanking the other driver's chain, and mocking him at the same time, or the guy doesn't know his own car well. Though it be my guess, he was just mocking the other driver.
