Tyson Hesse and the animation team and the editors of the new trailer may have just saved this film. Even if people aren't keen still, I think more are inclined to give it a chance now.
God, not only is Hesse such a gift (it's thanks to him we even got that 6th episode of Mania Adventures that delivered all that Amy goodness that the game failed/was afraid to do) but he now uses his talent to save Sonic's design and actually makes it look cute.
He deserves a position at Sega's Sonic Team, both as artist and writer.
