for reasons that are many, not the least of which is ensureing that in a tiny way, not even death will be the end for him, a nether carries the most important memories of one life thru to the next, allowing one to learn from there past selvs, and if there was someone important to them on a deep level, such as a soul mate perhaps even helping them find eachother once more, its not a garunteed thing as they will be two diffrent people but...sometimes.
