Moms birthday is in November. She's been complaining about the weather since... forever!
Dad finally decided to splurge on something truly extravagant for his wife, and scrimped and saved to get her a luxury item, a wonderful fur coat.
With a look of sad and incredulous wonder, she gave a fierce stare and a hoarse whisper of "thank you" to her husband, barely heard over her two bouncing kids. She ran her fingers through the sleek fur as she cuddled and posed in her wonderous gift. Sacrificing for so many years and getting used to yoga pants and jeans, one forgets the dreams of dressing fancy and feeling like a woman, but that day she felt like a true Lady wearing her new coat. Dad couldn't stop grinning. He knew there would be some rough thank-you sex that evening.
Todays InkTober keyword was "Coat". I could have used it to draw a picture of someone coating their dagger in poison, or any other use of the word... but Mom here (still has no official name!) needed some loving! Here, have a poem below:
"Elegance, Style
Much reason to gloat
Lucky man Richard
Bought his wife a fur coat."
