A wide courtyard to one side of Cearnach Castle has been given over to trees and flowers and growing things. Built by the first queen of Cearnach, the Queen's Garden, as it's called, has long been a refuge for the royal family. Ciara is especially fond of the place, since it lets her hold on to a sliver of her old life, before a series of unfortunate incidents elevated the king's bastard to the throne. She tends it herself, because she finds the work helps her think. These days, she's sometimes assisted by her daughter. But they have found a way to be happy as a family and to still enjoy the simple pleasures in life. So they'll be okay.
Friends are always welcome, though, of course.
