Naruto was a big part of my childhood but I never got to finish it so recently I started watching again! I'm at episode 321 where Madara first shows up, been a cool way to pass time to rest hands after work.
I also needed to have at least one art in my gallery to celebrate the iconic Naruto-Sasuke duo.
A childhood friend of mine was suffering from mental health issues in the past months, and seeing how determinated Naruto was to rescue his friend in the anime, made me realize I would never give up on him no matter the distance. He's doing better now and I'm glad he was able to come back from that place.

yeah i can imagine. Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, always had a problem with over decorating his characters and stuggled to make them more simplistic and easier to draw. of course though, even while trying to simplify the characters he still gave them LOTS of details in the clothes and other accessories

alright that is a fair criticism. youre right, according to the manga they are one in the same. However, i still stand by what i said before about prefering the original series. to me, the shippuden series just got too goofy and strayed too far from what i felt the original series was trying to illustrate. Also i feel that Masashi Kishimoto's portrayal of teenagers just looks off, he draws kids well and adults as well, but that inbetween stage looks really off to me and is pretty distracting

It went very DBZ and it just doesn't work for "ninjas". That's really my only true argument against Shippuden. Just the whole idea of being smart, stealthy, using your tools and watching for traps was just gone and it became run at enemy and throw your strongest energy blast.

oh man im SO glad you brought up DBZ! I cant watch anything after Cell was defeated xD and from what i understand, according to Akira Toriyama, thats where the series was finally supposed to end anyway, but the manga/anime companies wanted MORE!

Yeah, even in the first draft of the Buu saga, the long haired SSJ3 was called SSJ2 because the SSJ2 from the Cell saga was just Ascended Saiyan. He forgot he already made it SSJ2. Son-Goku was never meant to come back to life after sacrificing himself in the Cell saga. Son-Gohan was going to become the main character.
