The test is famous for being impossible to complete, and that is exactly what appears to be happening. TerrKar is gesturing proudly with his foot on the captain’s chair as the ship is burning and sparking with all the bridge crew incapacitated. Yuri’Tab has her hand on her face with a pained expression, seemingly frustrated with how the test has gone. They are wearing Star Trek: Generations, “Lost Era” uniforms and on the bridge of a ship resembling the ships of that era such as the USS Excelsior NCC-2000. Illustration was commissioned by Raptorzs and features his original characters.

This wasn’t the first Star Trek themed work I’ve been commissioned to make, but it is certainly the largest! The scene here is Raptorzs’s characters taking part in a simulated test called the Kobayashi Maru. Both of them are responding quite differently to the results of their progress in the test XD
I’ve always been a huge fan of the Star Trek franchise, so making something like this was a really cool experience! All the effects such as the smoke, sparks, and damage were probably my favorite part to paint; along with the characters and their uniforms as well ^^
