Red-feathered hips swung around the sandstone doorway into the royal lounge, the proud phoenix girl eagerly answering the pharaoh’s summons. Kaz Bennu’s passionate and mesmerising dancing had seen her make a stellar rise to more and more prestigious positions as dancer for increasingly more important masters, culminating in her being hired by the newly crowned pharaoh Alkhisha. And she did not intend to let her down.
