Old post and descriptions;

New doodles; two Rainbow Dash, a Dala sketch from the sketchbook app and Spitfire. A friend got worried over the fact I haven’t been posting and doing what I love, that maybe I’ve been too caught up with work to the point where I’m just droning through life now. It’s not that bad, but it’s true I’ve been laying this off. I’d really like to get back into it again, but with such limited time these days I’ll have to keep getting rid of the expectations for “quality” I lay on myself and just crank out when I do have time. Cut out the time-wasting habits of the past, maybe cut off some social life or better yet combine it with drawing whenever possible. I’ve felt out of shape for months, but hopefully I’ll be able to change that.

Colored one of the sketches last night. Kind of a smol thing but the face ended up sticking with me and I felt bothered by the lack of filling. Didn’t want to touch any of the lines though. I filled in the color manually with the sketch brush, dragging out the experience but I believe it helped quite a bit with making the color transitions beneath the lines look more natural. Really enjoyed it.
