Also I'm sorry if the prices seem high, but in concerns to amount of time a piece would typically take that is the middle ground price I could best settle on to be both fair to me and the customer. I’m not putting commissions out to make a fortune or have price battles with other artists. I just wouldn’t be able to handle the workload if I did that and would be constantly sending myself to the hospital (not over exaggerating, I’m REALLY trying to keep from ending up there all the time) I just want to provide an option for those who might be interested in commissioning me with prices that will hopefully be fair to both parties.
It’s a big file, but try not to let it scare you. There’s a lot of words to read, but please read them if you would like a commission, as they are important. I’m not sure how popular they will be, as they’re not super cheep, for me though the prices are fair, as I do have many other projects that I wish to work on.
An important note on the extra printing options, right now it’ll have it be a waiting list, the reasons are as follows.
I can’t make Buttons until I get a new button maker, as the one I used before moved to BC. The good ones can get pretty pricy so depending on how well commissions go it may take me a while to save up. You can certainly go on the waiting list for buttons.
As for the other printing options it may be a little bit of a wait (not as long as the buttons though) I haven’t restocked since I made prints for the summer anime conventions. I may also need to invest in a new printer, hopefully with some help from commissions (if anyone orders any) I can reach that goal faster.
You know I've never actually heard of those places. I'm rather new to the selling online thing as most of the stuff I have drawn and made feature fanart (for when I attend and sell art at conventions) so I never bother selling online through sites like that because they usually don't allow the sale of fanart, perhaps I will check those places art.
But yeah, because I have the experience, equipment and supplies to make these things from conventions I have sold at in the past I thought it would be a cool idea to offer the printing option up for commissions as well, for people that may want that little extra touch, I mean there's nothing cooler then having a pin, bookmark or notebook of your own personal character.

Well I had wanted to put in for an inking commission with solid flat color background of my character Kadmiel in the military uniform, but I don't know what the canadian-american conversion rate is on top of the 25% reduction. According to my calculator the 25% is a $4.50 reduction but it doesn't seem to add up, my math skills were never strong. And that's based on eighteen american dollars.

Yeah if you mean the Bust/Half Body inking It would be 13.50 with the discount. I believe that paypal is able to convert currency According to http://www.xe.com/ucc/ conversion rate would be 13.50 USD = 13.6802 CAD apparently Canadian dollar is inching up again. so it would be 18cents more, if you want you can just pay in USD. Which-ever in the end turns out cheaper for you I don't mind, since apparently our dollars are relatively close right now

I don't want lots of commissions, the last time i did my commissions cheep I ended up putting myself in the hospital and crippling my drawing arm for half a year, in addition to that they take time away from all the other work I need to do like my comic and writing, which is and will always be my main focus. People though have expressed interest, that is why I put commissions up. The pictures are priced under the average time it takes me to complete a piece, at around a 4$ an hour rate, which is actually far bellow minimum wage.

Stop comparing hourly wage. I could spend 10 hours on an art piece and have it be total shit because I can't draw. It's not about the time it takes but the quality of the output. When a company commissions like a logo or art of another type they don't pay by the hour, they pay by the project. So please don't compare the time it takes to the price.
We're just furries... doing this for fun. People who buy from you won't be profiting off your work. No need to charge prices that are actually higher than artists such as Azelyn, Tokifuji, and Tsaiwolf... all artists that are more well known for regularly delivering great art in the fandom... and you're more expensive than they are.

As I have stated before I am not a commission artist. I don't intend to compete or take away customers from the artists that are. I am a comic artist and novelist that has simply opened up the option for commissions for those interested in getting a piece done in my style or wanting to support me as an artist while getting something in return. I don't understand why so many people don't like the idea that I choose to spend the most of my time releasing FREE full colour comic pages, novel chapters and series art instead of offering and working on commissions.
I am an artist, and because I'm handicapped it is the only job that I have and can get, concerning money I'm constantly in the red. Right now in fact all the money I make is going toward paying for a wheelchair ramp that I need to build so I can get in and out of my own house as the family member I had to assist me is no longer able to do so. Clearly becoming a commission artist would be a good idea, but instead I choose to continue releasing free work for everyone while keeping commissions on the side.
In actuality, I had to fight with a lot of people, friends and family members to be able to release commissions quote-un-quote "this low in price" and every time I get a commission order I get the same lecture again but about twelve different people about how I'm not charging enough. In fact the semi realistic piece was added to the options simply to shut them up (I originally did not intend to add it because it takes days to weeks to finish a piece), as I doubt anyone looking for a commission will buy that one and will stop at around the cell shading prices, (and if they did I would very most likely talk them out of it)
