Hi to all!
Sorry for my long absence; a lot of things have happened in this last period (some also not very nice, unfortunately) and free time has been very little for me.

So I thought of publishing something before my vacation period started (in about a week):

The model you see is definitely the showpiece of my collection...and probably the most expensive (for now).

For those who don't know it, it's the main "protagonist" of the anime "Initial D", more precisely it is the "Project D Version"; the one that appears from the fourth season onwards.

This model, in particular, is produced by AUTOart...and probably is the best model of this car. It's very expensive, but fortunately I found it in promotion on a site, and I really saved a lot of money compared to the normal price...how lucky ;)

Normally, the Toyota Sprinter Trueno mount a 4A-GE 16v Twincam, with 130hp (Anime version has 150hp); after the engine swap *spoiler alert*, in season 2, the Trueno mount a new engine. This new engine was a TRD Group A racing engine based on the fourth generation of the 4A-GE that was found in Toyota AE101s, with 240hp and over 11.000rpm...a monster!

I highly recommend anyone who has never watched this anime to look for it and download it with subtitles in their own language.
I recommend the subbed version, because I noticed that in the dubbed versions the original music (which is Eurobeat) is also changed. The only dubbed version that had kept the music and the original opening was the Italian one (of which now every trace has been lost), even if it included only the first 12 episodes (out of 26) of the first season.

See you after the holidays, where I hope to bring new drawings ^^

Absolutely yes! You can't even imagine how many Initial D and Japanese car fans are here in Italy (and I'm one of those). Unfortunately, an AE86 cannot be found below € 20,000...and I don't even possess such a sum in my dreams :(

There's a video of an Italian guy, who owns a replica of this car, who enjoys drifting (and I think he doesn't do badly):

20k euro?  thats cheap for me.  The last time i saw an ae86 that had an engine (horrible condition, engine didn;t even start the whole car and needed a full overhaul) it was going for OVER A MILLION USD

Well, if it's cheap for you...can you give me one?

Ok, I'm just kidding XD

But it seems strange to me that it even reaches $1 million. I also searched on Japanese sites...and the price for several AE86s was around 2 million Yen (about 20.000 €/$); however cars with at least 100/200 thousand kilometers
