This reminds me of something crazy I did almost 50 years ago; Back in the day and time when you could get blockbusters, I fastened one to a propane torch cylinder like the one in the comic with a couple of hose clamps, and a small piece of 3/16 plate steel clamped over the blockbuster to direct the full blast into the cylinder.
