The Tumble Whirler was rickety at best; the paint was peeling off, several bolts rattled in their seating, the safety bar wiggled far more than it probably should, and the ride's operator somehow looked like he was fifteen and forty all at once. It was the kind of ride that called to mind all the horror stories a young girl has ever heard about carnival disasters. Tammy was absolutely certain that if her tail slipped through the grating, it would get sheered off in an instant. That wasn't going to stop them from riding it five times in a row, though! Monica knew exactly the right way to set the egg-shaped cage spinning from start to stop, making them both nearly faint, vomit, and pee all at the same time, and they weren't going to stop until one of those things happened. Neither of them did, but they were certain they were on the precipice (and Tammy did pee just a little more than a couple times). The highlight of the evening is when they managed to be upside-down right at the exact moment when the ride stopped, so they were stuck hanging in their seats while the operator unloaded all the other cages. The girls were giggling so much and for so long that their faces hurt.
This one was done by the incredibly talented http://www.furaffinity.net/user/unimpressive/ . For the love of all that is furry, go give this bat a kiss! For having never seen a rock-o-plane before, he sure as shit nailed the shape of the cage. I'm not an artist, but I'm certain that couldn't have been easy. GO GIVE THIS BAT SOME LOVE, DAMNIT!
If you've read the story, this is the ride that Tammy and Monica were on somewhere in the middle of Step (part 2).
