Poly wasn't entirely sure about the party that Sakura had invited her to, but she was hardly going to say no to an invitation like this. When Sakura offered to help her get ready and offered earrings, Poly had to make it clear that she didn't have ear piercings and wasn't going to get them. Piercings just weirded Poly out for some reason. After a bit of back and forth with Sakura, eventually, Poly conceded to clip on earings. They smarted just a little and were kinda heavy, but they were quite shiny and fetchy. As Poly's ears moved, though, the earnings bounced. They felt weird.
She hoped Sakura wasn't going to try and put her in a kimono too. Oh well! Time to find out what the party was about...
I mean, a nice necklace would have done just as well, and wouldn't hurt. I don't have pierced ears in real life, either, but I think I'd rather do that than try to wear clip ons for any length of time. Poor Poly. They do look pretty cute on her, though, and with any luck the party will be fun and help take her mind off the earrings.
Mm, I imagine the necklace came next! She has a really cute one that is of a fairy fox worked out of silver that she quite likes, but it typically goes on last. It's simply *impossible* to work a clasp with claws. She should get little magnets for it.
I don't know, I guess needles just kinda squick me. I'd rather tolerate a night of them, and of course, if it's too much you can always take them off after you get by the door check! The things Poly does though... It's nice they look cute on her, though, and hopefully the party will be fun. Well, Poly's sure it'll be fun in any case. They're always fun!
I know, the piece came out fantastic. It was Floofy's idea, and yeah, it's adorable ^^ I'm really happy to have been in it.

I dunno. I think I'd rather have my ears pierced than wear clip ons, but I can't exactly fault Poly for not wanting to get jabbed with a needle, either. Poor little foxy. She looks so sad here, I just wanna hug her. But the earrings to do look super cute on her, and they go really nicely with her dress and her pretty blonde fur. I have no doubt she'll have fun when she gets to the party, too. Or else she'll find a way to make it fun!
Sakura looks so pretty in her kimono, too! The only thing cuter than one lil foxy is two!

That's fair! I don't know, needles make Poly really skitish. Not a fan of being stabbed anywhere with them. The clip ons are just for a night, and if it's too much, she can always take them off. She knows intellectually that the needle would just be for a moment, but.. just makes her feel off. I don't know if she's really sad, just.. awkward and kinda pouty. Although she'd never turn down hugs from a pretty golden vixen!
The earrings *do* look kinda cute, but they're also so heavy! Probably not a regular part of her outfit. Although she guesses that they'll do for just a night! And noooo... it's not her fault the parties get fun! It just happens! Sakura certainly is pretty too, maybe even more dressed up than Poly. They're both adorable ^^ And more so together!

That brings up the question, if Sakura gave Poly some needle-free piercings, whould she take them?
... No matter how hard I google I can't find an example of what I'm thinking of. It's an old-school method of piercing, which uses special clip-on earings that get slowly tightly over the course of weeks until there's a hole through your ear.
