Poly is always a little awkward meeting new people, but it's important to make good first impressions. She tries to be prim and proper when meeting new people (under normal circumstances, it's a bit different if they're trying to catch her or something!)
I know how she feels. I'm always rather awkward with new people, too. I don't think Poly needs to worry about first impressions too much, though. She's a sweetie and even at her most mischievous I think it's clear there's never any malice there. My first impression of her was of an intelligent young lady with an interestingly archaic taste in clothing that suggested a similarly interestingly creative way of thinking. So far as I can tell, I was pretty much right, too!

Oh gosh, first impressions are always so scary! I always find some way to make a total fool myself, too. But I don't think Poly has to worry about that! She's too clever, cunning and smart, and also sweet and adorable! I'm sure she'll always do just fine.
As for people who are trying to catch her, well to heck with them anyway! Nobody cares what they think!

I know! Poly is always a little afraid of messing the first impressions up somehow, but typically she normally gets though it by just being really cute, which tends to smooth over missteps. And aw! I'm sure you don't make a fool of yourself~! And if you need, you can always pick Poly up and use her as an icebreaker! And that's really sweet of you to say~!
