Here we have my lovey-dovey pair, about whom I've written many a tale, Prince Blueblood the once-snide unicorn, and the love of his life, former scullery maid and hard, practical donkey jenny, Connie. And yes, the anatomical proportions are correct. Even for a donkey her ears are enormous. It's part of her charm, if Blueblood is to be believed, and she has gone from loathing them to being content.
Here, the happy couple has gone on holiday from a busy schedule of being on-demand socialites. When Luna and Celestia can't go to a function, or don't want to, these two are happy to go. Note, that doesn't mean they send them to needlessly tedious events. They aren't heartless. If they just would rather do something else but an event seems nice, Blueblood and Connie go. They support charities and act as the faces for organizations for donkey pride or inter-sentient relationships, sometimes meeting with important government ministers to offer aid and insight. It's rewarding work, but it gets to be a lot. Hence, taking a few weeks off to go somewhere far, hot, and bright. Golden sand beach, relaxed attire, and a fruity drink. One drink, two straws because as far as they're both concerned, the honeymoon isn't ever going to end. The attire is fitting for both, Blueblood in a tasteful but brief bit of beachwear that he knows will get Connie braying, and Connie herself in a rather more covering thing recalling her old maid attire, which Blueblood just loves to watch her slowly slip on.
