"Bwah?!" Tails hiccuped as he finally opened his eyes. He had a bit of drool ebbing around his mouth and his eyes were significantly heavier than he recalled them being before. Tails was just putting it together that he was waking up from having been knocked out... again.
The fox sat up and attempted to rub his head. Immediately, he felt something that definitely wasn't there before.
It was a pink baby bonnet.
Tails gasped and looked down at himself. He had on a white shirt and a matching Strawberry Shortcake diaper to go with it. Why was this on him though?
"C-Cobalt...?" Tails looked up and saw the chipmunk standing before him on the bed. The fox yelped and scooted back a bit. "W-What the-?!"
"Good news, Master." Cobalt spoke up, trying to impart what happened to him rather quickly so that his actions weren't misconscrewed. "Diesel used the potty after he saw what you did. You made it look like fun. He isn't afraid of it anymore."
Tails blinked. Him flying outside on the roller, naked, and smashing his face into the telephone pole looked fun? He had to admit, he felt a little giddy when the stars started floating around his head before he passed out but that, for some reason, was natural whenever he got hit hard enough. For some reason he always felt derpy and ditzy like a dancing school girl whenever he got hit hard in the head. It was odd.
Still, what Cobalt was saying meant that he had no right to complain about his state of dress. The fox looked over at Diesel as he played with his blocks on the floor. With a blush, Tails grumbled and stood up, finally getting off the bed and walking past Cobalt with his arms crossed.
"No funny business right? Y-You're telling the truth...?" Tails asked, trying to remain calm.
Cobalt nodded. "Yes sir. I can show you if you wish. Although, I don't think he'll actually go. Plus, I've had to clean that thing twice."
"Twice?" Tails asked, looking back slightly.
"Y-Yes... you uh... before you hit the telephone pole you uh... used it... so..." Cobalt blushed a bit himself, chuckling a tad. Tails felt a shiver run down his spine.
He grumbled and puffed out his cheeks, looking to the side, sweating and blushing with intense embarrassment radiating off of him.
Cobalt could sense his master's distress. "We can go for a best 2 out of 3 if you want to."
"No, no." Tails refused, "You won the bet. It's fine."
He was mumbling this a tad.
Cobalt smiled with his hands in his pockets. "I still think you're cool, Master."
"Mmmggghh..." Tails muttered a grunt of annoyance before walking towards the door. "I guess I should get dinner ready..."
His brilliant plan to get Cobalt in less embarrassing undies than him got him wearing more embarrassing underwear than the toddler of the house. Guess he deserved that though.
Fine. Maybe babysitting wasn't going so well either. Things were sure to pick up when he and Sonic gave their pep rally speech tomorrow at Cobalt's Elementary School. Then he'd get his office at the Science Convention and he could rely on his tenure as a respected member of the science community without fear...!
