The setting is in Duran, New Mexico in July of 1960;
This is the mower that one of Al and Marge Coyote's sons, Rex, used to mow the lawn for Frank and Wanda to earn some money.
Frank Coyote use to work for the state highway department until 1956 when a drunk drove his car into a work zone where Frank and his crew were working and struck Frank.
Frank has an injured leg because of that mishap, and there are times he is not up to pushing a mower...Frank's son, Jerald, is married to Cindy thus they have their own place...The other three members of that family still living at the house are Frank's wife, Wanda, and daughters, Dotty and Cheryl...So occasionally, one of Al and Marge's sons usually mow the lawn for them.
Frank and Wanda's mower is a Hurricane Jr. made by N.M.P. Company in the early 1950s. The original wheels had red hubs like the colour of the cast aluminum deck, but had worn out and been replaced since Frank and Wanda had owned it.
