J.C. and Suki vs the Zombots

J.C. and Suki were walking through the forest, enjoying the beautiful sight when they noticed something odd. They were passing by a tree, but for some reason, it was metal.

J.C.: That's weird. I don't remember seeing a tree made of metal.

Suki: Looks like that tree's not the only thing.

J.C.: Why do you say that?

Suki: Look over there.

J.C. and Suki looks to see that some of the flowers and grass were turned into metal.

Suki: I don't remember these plants being made of metal. What's going on here?

J.C.: I don't know. But, we better follow it and find out.

J.C. and Suki followed the metal trail. It lead them to Winmill Village. However, the village was empty. Not a single monian in sight. They were confused about what's going on.

J.C.: Hello?

Suki: No one's here.

J.C.: This doesn't make sense. Where is everyone?

Suki: We got ot keep moving.

They kept following the metal trail. Before long, they reached Seaside City.

Suki: Looks like Seaside City up ahead. Maybe somebody there can help us.

J.C.: Let's go check it out, then.

They both ran through the city. However, most of the streets were empty. There wasn't a single mobian in sight.

Suki: This place is as quiet as a graveyard.

J.C.: No kidding. I saw a place called Windmill Village that was empty. My guess is that the city must've had the same thing happen to them. Question is, what is the cause for everyone's disappearance?

Suki: That is a good question. Let's just hope someone can help us.

Soon, they arrived at a house. Surprisingly, this is the home of the Chaotix Detective Agency.

J.C.: The Chaotix. Maybe they can help us.

Suki: Wait... Something's not right.

J.C.: What's wrong?

Suki: Look at the door. It's been broken down. I got a feeling this place was attacked.

J.C.: You could be right, Suki. Keep your guard up, just in case.

Suki: Got it.

(J.C. drew his sword while Suki took out her crossbow)

They slowly walked inside the building. The whole place was deserted. There was no sign of the Chaotix. Suddenly, they see someone. It looked like a male hedgehog.

J.C.: Excuse me? Where is everybody?

(There was a moment of silence)

J.C.: Hello?

J.C. got closer when the hedgehog hears him. However, when the hedgehog turned around, J.C. was shocked to see that the hedgehog was a Zombot.

J.C.: What on Mobius?

The Zombot raises its arms when Suki fires an arrow at it. However, it bounces off harmlessly.

Suki: What the?

Suddenly, they hear more footsteps.

J.C.: We got to move!

Quickly, J.C. and Suki ran outside. Suddenly, they were horrified with what they saw: There were Zombots everywhere. Once mobians in this city now turned into Zombots. Could they be the ones that left the trail of metal behind them? They wondered who or what could've caused this.

Suki: Not good.

J.C.: These use to be mobians. Now...

Suddenly, the Zombots surrounded them.

Suki: Looks like we're surrounded.

J.C.: Where's Sonic the Hedgehog when you need him?

Suki: Guess we have no choice, but to fight.

J.C.: Better idea... Give me yoru hand.

Suki grabs J.C.'s hand. He then flew up just as the Zombots were about to grab them. J.C. then flew up to the rooftop of a building. He then took out his sword.

J.C.: There. That way they won't surround us.

Suki: What are these things?

J.C.: No way they're mobians. Something happened to them.

Suki: Yeah, but what?

Suddenly, they hear a scream. They looked up ahead to see a female wolf. She was trapped in an alley and a few Zombots were walking towards her. The wolf tried calling out for help, but no one heard her.

J.C.: Someone's in trouble! We got to help.

Suki: Too risky.

Suddenly, one of the Zombots grabbed the wolf. J.C. and Suki watched as the Zombots spread the metal virus on the wolf and turned her into a Zombot. Soon, the wolf followed the other Zombots out of the alley.

J.C.: So, that's how those things are created.

Suki: So, what's the plan? How are we going to get out of here?

J.C.: Suki, try your exploding arrows. Maybe they're more effective.

Suki: Goood thinking.

(Suki fires a few exploding arrows at some of the Zombots, knocking them back)

Suki: Better, but it looks like they were knocked back.

J.C.: Better than nothing, I guess.

J.C. jumps down. The Zombots walked towards him as his sword began to glow a golden aura around it.

J.C.: By the power within the Sword of Angels, I compel you all to yield.

A yellow beam of energy fires, knocking some of the Zombots out of the way. There was a road cleared from the attack.

J.C.: Let's move!

Suki: Right behind you!

The both of them start running. J.C. slashed through some of the Zombots, knocking them back or stunning them. Suki fires a few more exploding arrows at the Zombots, knocking them off their feet. They were both able to reach the pier. They made it in the nick of time as more Zombots showed up.

Suki: There's too many of them! We need to get out of here!

J.C.: I see a boat! Let's escape on it.

Suki: Good thinking. Better than staying here!

They both make a run for the boat. Surprisingly, it was still there and the Zombots. Suki fires an exploding arrow at the dock, causing it to break.

Suki: That should slow them down for a while.

J.C.: Great job. Now, let's get the boat moving.

J.C. and suki jumps onto the boat. They started the boat's engine.

Suki: Say, J.C., couldn't you just fly us out of here?

J.C.: Even if I wanted to, it's too risky. Unless, you'd rather turn into one of those things.

Suki: Good point.

The boat starts and they left the pier. J.C. gave a sigh of relief and Suki looks back at the city.

Suki: I can't believe we made it. Still, what happened to those mobians?

(J.C. looks to see a radio in the boat)

J.C.: A radio... Maybe we can call for help. Hopefully, Sonic and his friends are okay.

J.C. turns on the radio. He tries to get a signal.

Suki: Can you try calling our family?

J.C.: Not sure. So far, I'm batting zero.

Suddenly, J.C. gets a signal.

J.C.: Finally, some good luck. Hello?

Radio: Who is this?

J.C. recognized the voice: It was Amy Rose.

J.C.: This is J.C. the Hybrid and Suki the Wolf.

Amy: (radio) J.C.? Surprised you and Suki are safe. What happened?

J.C.: Long story short, Suki and I ran into some trouble in Seaside City.

Amy: What?! You two aren't infected, are you?!

J.C.: Whoa, slow down for a second, Amy? What's going on?

Amy: It's a long story. Let's just say Eggman released something called the "Metal Virus". It's turning mobians into zombie-like robots. Sonic calls them "Zombots".

Suki: So, that's what those things that attacked us were.

Amy: The most horrifying part of it is this: The Zombots infect anyone and anything they touch, starting with Windmill Valley. Shockingly, the "Metal Virus" didn't just turn mobians into Zombots, but it also turned plants into metal as well.

Both: No way.

Amy: You two were lucky to escape when you did. The Restoration recently sent a rescue ship and saved a handful of civilians in Seaside City, including the Chaotix.

Suki: Well, that's a relief.

Amy: Have you tried contacting anyone else yet?

J.C.: We haven't tried our family yet. We tried the others, but we got nothing. We can't even call Cream and Vanilla until we found your signal.

Amy: Well, right now, the Restoration is sending a message to any members of the Resistance.

Suki: And Sonic?

Amy: Last I heard, he was infected with the "Metal Virus", but Tails explained that the only way to prevent himself w=from turning into one of them was his speed.

Suki: Interesting.

Amy: Are either of you infected?

J.C.: No, but I think one grabbed my arm and another grabbed Suki's leg Fortunately, neither of us turned.

Amy: Really? How?

Suki: I was grabbed by my robotic leg. J.C. was grabbed by his robotic one. My guess is that this infection affects plant and organic life, but it doesn't affect machines.

Amy: Lucky.

J.C.: Anyway, we're going to contact our family and let them know what's going on. We wish you and the Resistance good luck. Oh, and if you see Cream and Vanilla, tell them we said, 'hi'.

Amy: Okay. Stay safe, you two.

Suki: Roger that. Good luck, Amy Rose.

After the conversation, J.C. tried contacting his family. Fortunately, he was able to get a signal.

J.C.: Mom? Dad? Can you hear me?

Meanwhile, "The Ark" was flying in the air. Barbara and John were relaxing in the command center when they get a radio signal.

Barbara: A radio signal? From who?

(John answers it)

John: Who is this?

J.C.: Mom? Dad? Can you hear me?

Both: J.C.?

J.C.: Hey, glad to see you guys are okay.

Barbara: We're fine. What's going on?

J.C.: Suki and I escaped from Seaside City. It's been overrun with Zombots.

John: I remember hearing from members from The Restoration talk about on the radio. How did you know about them?

Suki: We contacted Amy Rose and she explained the details. Sonic is on the run, saying that the "Metal Virus" is kept stable that way and preventing it from spreading.

Barbara: Clever. Speaking of which, are either of you infected?

J.C.: No, although we were grabbed by our robotic limbs. Surprisingly, the virus didn't affect us.

John: Well, that's a relief. Where are you now?

Suki: Just outside Seaside City on a boat.

John: All right. Stay there until we arrive. We're going to pick you up.

Suki: Okay.

Barbara: See you soon.

J.C.: Okay.

(J.C. turns off the radio)

Suki: J.C.?

J.C.: Yes, Suki?

Suki: What do you think is going to happen to Mobius with all this chaos from the Zombots?

(J.C. looks up into the sky and sighs)

J.C.: I wish I knew.

Soon, "The Ark" came to pick up J.C. and Suki. After tehy got onboard, the ship flew off. J.C. and Suki looked outside, hoping Mobius will be saved from the Zombots.

Here's a little story I did of my Sonic OC's fighting Zombots. Got to say, it felt fun working on this. (I also got a story based on Sonic Forces coming tomorrow for Sonic the Hedgehog's birthday. Hopefully, I'll be finished with it before then) I hope this turned out okay and I hope you guys enjoy it.
