Pokémon Prank War
(A Pokémon April Fools Day story)
Ash was at home. He and Pikachu were on vacation from their journey. So, they decided to return back to Pallet Town for a little relaxation. As Pikachu was spending time with Ash's Pokémon, Ash was at home with his friends.
Ash: And then, we met this Pokémon called a "Meltan".
Tracey: Wow, must be a great Pokémon.
Ash: Indeed. I originally had Poipole for a while, until it stayed in its home world.
Dawn: A what now?
Ash: It's an Ultra Beast Pikachu and I befriended. Long story.
May: Anyway, thanks for inviting us over for the day, Ash. Tomorrow is April Fool's Day.
Ash: No problem. Figured it would be fun to do a few pranks here in Pallet Town.
Iris: You know, I actually use to do pranks back in the Village of Dragons.
Cilan: Really?
Iris: Yeah, but it was long before my journey as a Dragon Master. Another long story.
Ash: Well, hope you guys will be ready for tomorrow.
Serena: Looking forward to it.
The next morning, today was April Fool's Day. Ash was walking to the kitchen to get something to eat. Suddenly, when he opened the fridge door, he was hit in the face with a pie. Ash was surprised and looks to see Serena by the doorway.
Ash: It's on.
(Serena sticks her tongue out at Ash)
Later that day, Ash was walking home after getting some food when he sees Serena sleeping on the couch.
Ash: Looks like Serena is asleep. Perfect. I got bought some whipped cream. And I got just the trick for her.
Ash puts some whipped cream in Serena's hand. He then takes out a feather and tickles Serena's nose. Serena felt her nose being tickled and she raises her hand to scratch, but she ends up hitting herself in the face with whipped cream. Serena stood up and looks at her hand. She then turns to Ash.
Serena: Really, Ash?
Ash: Well, at least it's not shaving cream.
Serena: True. I had a feeling you'd get me back for the pie in the face.
(Ash just stuck out his tongue)
Serena grabs a towel and wipes her face. After that, she looks at Ash.
Serena: So, what's the plan now?
Ash: I'm thinking about pranking the rest of our friends. Want to join me?
Serena thought about it and with a smile on her face, she held out her hand.
Serena: It's on.
(Ash and Serena smiled and shook hands, knowing this will be a great April Fool's Day)
Later that day, Misty was walking out of bathroom and went to get something to eat. She opens one of the cupboards when a Haunter popped out. Misty screams and fell to the ground. Surprisingly, the Haunter was a fake. She looks to see Ash and Serena by the doorway.
Misty: ASH AND SERENA, I'M GONNA KILL YOU!
(Ash and Serena stuck their tongues out at Misty and walked away)
Ash looks to see Brock was asleep.
Ash: Good, he's asleep. I better get started.
Minutes later, Ash was working on a crossword puzzle when suddenly...
Brock: ASH!
Ash hears Brock run towards him with a laptop in his hand.
Brock: You mind telling me what THIS is?!
Ash looks to see a picture of Brock sleeping and with a finger in his nose.
Ash: A disgusting habit.
Brock: YOU HACKED MY SOCIAL ACCOUNT!
Ash: Well clearly, "Rock" isn't a very secure password, Brock-O. Jessie and James could've cracked that one, honestly.
Brock: You know what?! That's... actually a good point there.
Next was Tracey. He was getting some food and medicine for his Pokemon when he heard a farting noise. The clerk raises an eyebrow and Tracey gave a nervouse chuckle.
Tracey: That wasn't me.
Tracey then walks out when he heard the noise again.
Tracey: Where is that noise coming from?
(Tracey checks his bag)
Tracey: It's coming from my bag?
Tracey opens the bag and sees a small speaker. It then made a farting noise. He then sees a note. It said, "April Fool from Ash and Serena".
Tracey: Wise guys, eh?
Meanwhlie, Ash and Serena were at home. Ash hits a button on a remote.
Ash: I wonder if this is even working.
Serena: Probably is.
Gary was next. He was walking to the bathroom to take a shower. Minutes later, he yells. He looks in the mirror and sees that his hair was dyed with blue hair dye. There was also a note on the bottle that said, "Consider this payback for the same trick you pulled on me long ago. Signed, Ash".
Gary: I knew I shouldn't have pulled that prank on Ash long ago.
Later, Lillie and Gladion were walking into the living room when they saw a plate of donuts and a caramel apple. There was also a note by the plate.
Lillie: What's this?
Gladion: Looks like a gift from Ash and Serena.
Lillie picks up the caramel apple and Gladion picks up one of the donuts. Seeing that both foods look okay, they each took a bite. However, something was wrong.
Both: What the?
Gladion spits the donut out and looks to see what was in it. Inside the donuts was mayonnaise.
Gladion: Mayo?
Lillie looks at the caramel apple and realizes that it was actually an onion.
Lillie: It's an onion!
Suddenly, they noticed a note. It said, "April Fools".
Both: Boy, they really know how to hurt a fellow Trainer.
Dawn was next. She was in the shower when Serena snuck into her bedroom. She looks around to see that the close was clear.
Serena: Good. She's not here. I better get started.
Serena opens Dawn's underwear drawer and opens her bag. She then takes out a bottle of itching powder.
Serena: Just what I needed.
(Serena then pours the itching powder into Dawn's underwear drawer)
Serena: Oops!
Serena then closes the drawer, puts the itching powder away in her bag and ran out just as Dawn was getting out of the shower. Minutes later, she was sitting in the living room when she hears Dawn screaming. She then runs into the living room after getting her clothes on and glares at Serena, scratching herself like crazy.
Dawn: YOU!
(Serena just sticks out her tongue)
Sophocles was next. Ash walks into the lab with a pair of scissors. Seeing that Sophocles wasn't around, he takes the scissors and cuts a couple of holes into something. Later, Sophocles was about to head outside.
Sophocles: Hey, Ash. I'm going to get the newspaper for you.
Ash: Okay. Thanks, Sophocles.
Sophocles: I'll be back in a bit.
Ash: I bet you will.
Sophocles opens the door, not knowing that Ash cuts a couple of holes in the back of his shorts. Ten minutes later, Sophocles returns inside and his face was red. He glares at Ash.
Ash: So, did you get the paper?
Sophocles: I'M GOING TO PUT YOU IN THE OBITUARY SECTION!
(Ash just sticks out his tongue)
Later, Lana was on the couch with Serena. She was having a bowl of chocolate pudding when she felt something wrong.
Lana: This tastes a little funny.
Serena: What?
Lana: My chocolate pudding, it tastes weird. Did you do something to it?
Serena: Not really. I make it the same as I always do. But, I did add some of this, though.
Serena sticks her hand into her pocket and takes out a bottle of laxatives. Lana looks at this and narrows her eyes.
Lana: Oh, you stink.
Serena: Yeah, you keep thinking about that.
(Lana ran off to find the bathroom)
Serena: You've got plenty of time to.
(Serena giggles as she had a few rolls of toilet paper hiding behind the couch)
Clemont had just gotten out of the shower. He had a towel wrapped around his waist and whistles as he walks towards the dresser. However, when he opened one of the drawers, it was empty.
Clemont: What the?
He then walks towards his closet, confused.
Clemont: Alright, what's going on here?
Clemont opens his closet only to find that it was empty as well.
Clemont: Oh, I'm going to kill both of them.
Meanwhile, Ash and Serena were outside with Bonnie.
Bonnie: I don't know, guys. Clemont is going to be awful sore when he finds out about what you both did.
They look to see that all of Clemont's clothes were in a tree. Ash and Serena just smirked.
Both: Let him.
Iris walks into the kitchen when she smells something. She then looks to see Cilan by the table, setting a couple plates of pasta. He then looks to see her by the doorway.
Cilan: Hey, Iris. I just made a couple plates of pasta. Want to join me? Ash said that he and Serena asked me to make it as a special dish.
Iris: Wow, that smells pretty good.
(Iris was about to sit down when something came to her)
Iris: Wait a minute...
Cilan: What's wrong?
Iris: Today is April Fool's Day and last I checked, Ash and Serena are in the middle of a prank war. They put something in that, didn't they? I seem to recall Serena doing this trick to Lana and it ended up with one of them in the bathroom. I know Brock is working on fixing an account and Clemont is still sour from fishing his clothes out of that tree.
Cilan: Whoa, can't they make a special meal for you? You think they would spike food while I wasn't looking? They're not like that, Iris. You probably would on the other hand, because you said you were a prankster back in the Village of Dragons.
(Iris chuckles at this)
Iris: True, but seriously, though... I'm not eating it.
(Iris then grabs a glass of juice and held it up)
Iris: Cheers to their failed attempt, Cilan!
Iris then starts drinking when she finished, she starts coughing. She felt like her throat was burning.
Iris: What is this? It's burning my throat!
Cilan: It's fruit punch. I don't know why it's spicy.
Iris: Let me see that.
Iris looks at the bottle of fruit punch and then she noticed something on the bottom of the bottle. It was a note. She took it off and looked to see that it was fruit punch, but with a little kick to it.
Cilan: So, it's spicy fruit punch. That makes sense.
Iris then looks at the note and it said, "Who's the kid now"? She then felt herself getting a little hot.
Iris: Oh, dear...
(Sweating and feeling her skin getting red, Iris ran off to find some water)
Iris: Alright, I'll admit... That was a clever prank. They got me there, that went right over my head. Remind me not to mess with those two.
Cilan: I'll make a note of it.
Later that day, May and Max were having a picnic. Just before May sat down, Ash placed a whoopie cushion underneath her. May sat on it and she and Max were both surprised.
Max: May!
(May gave a light giggle)
Meanwhile, Kiawe was at the park with Mimo. Ash they were watching some of the Pokémon, Mimo noticed a sign that says, "Kick Me" on Kiawe's back.
Kiawe: What?
Meanwhile, Cilan was watching a movie with Lana's sisters, Harper and Sarah when something happened to the T.V. Cilan got up to check when all of the sudden, a boxing glove came out and punched Cilan in the stomach. He then fells to his knees in pain. Harper and Sarah looked at him, a little concerned about what happened.
Both: Are you okay?
Meanwhile, Mallow was washing some of the dishes when all of the sudden, she felt something in the water. She looks in the sink and then, a Carvanha jumps out of the water and bites her on the arm. She then screams.
Paul then notices a cake on the table. He picks up a fork and pokes it. But then, it popped and he got frosting on his face. Turns out it was a balloon cake. Paul notices the frosting on the table spelling "April Fool's". He sighs and wipes the frosting off his face.
Paul: Real mature, guys.
Minutes later, Ash's friends gathered together at Professor Oak's lab. They were talking to Professor Oak and Ash's Mom about what happened.
Delia: Let me get this straight. Ash and Serena have been pulling pranks on you guys the whole day?
Cilan: Pretty much.
Iris: I'll say this, their pranks were impressive. I mean, a spicy drink? Almost set my mouth on fire.
Mallow: Better than getting your arm bitten by a Carvahna.
Professor Oak : You're all overreacting. They're just goofing off and having a little fun. Besides, Ash hasn't done any pranks since that prank war with Gary.
Gary: Once. ONE time, Gramps!
Misty: What are you talking about?
Professor Oak: Gary had a prank war with Ash long ago.
Brock: When was that?
Professor Oak: I think it was some time after he got back from his journey in the Sinnoh region and a little before his journey in the Unova region.
Delia: Remember the hair dye in Ash's shampoo?
Professor Oak: Yeah, Ash's hair was red for a week. Same for Pikachu. Well, his fur was orange.
Delia: Ah, because he has yellow fur. Makes sense.
Tracey: So, what should we do?
Delia: Well, April Fool's Day is almost over. I'm sure they're finishing their prank war, even as we speak.
Meanwhile, Ash was checking the kitchen and Serena was checking the bedroom. After the pranks they pulled on their friends, they were worried about them getting back at the two of them. Later, they rejoined in the living room.
Ash: Okay, these pranks are getting a little out of hand. Since we pranked the others, I'm afraid to eat anything because I thought they might get back at us.
Serena: I don't blame you. I'm afraid to even get dressed.
Ash: You want to just call a truce and put this behind us?
Serena: Yeah, a truce sounds like a good idea.
Ash and Serena both shook hands, but they both ended up shocking themselves. They let go and looked to see that they were both holding a joy buzzer in the palms of their hands.
Serena: Truce, huh?
Ash: Okay, NOW it's a truce.
Suddenly, they heard a knock on the door. They walked towards it and opened it, seeing that it was Max and Bonnie.
Ash: Max and Bonnie. What brings both of you here?
Max: Hey, guys. We wanted to talk to you.
Serena: Is it about the pranks?
Bonnie: Maybe a little.
Ash: Well, Serena and I just called a truce. We're done with pranks today.
Bonnie: Really?
Serena: Yep. We're done with April Fools Day.
Bonnie: Okay, cool.
Max: Say, can you come with us for a moment?
Ash: Um... sure.
They followed them outside. As they were walking, they didn't know the others were hiding in the bushes. Minutes later, Ash and Serena were coming back when they saw something. There was a lot of paint splattered all over Ash's house.
Ash: HEY! What in the world happened to my house?!
He then looks at his friends. They were standing by the front yard.
All: April Fool's.
(Ash and Serena looks at each other)
Ash: I know we called a truce, but what do you say we make an exception? Just this once.
Serena: Sounds good to me.
Ash and Serena whistled and their Pokémon showed up. The others looked a little worried.
Serena: Since you two didn't know about this prank, we'll go easy on you.
Max and Bonnie were relieved to hear that,
Ash: As for the rest of you guys...
Ash snaps his fingers and his Pokémon were ready to attack.
Max and Bonnie: I'd run if I were you.
The others nod in agreement and were getting ready to run.
Lillie: See you guys in the next region!
The group then ran off as Ash and Serena's Pokémon chased after them.
All: Happy April Fool's Day, everyone!
